All interns of Legacy Student Ministry are required to raise financial support. The first level is required of every intern: $3,000 per year (to cover the cost of curriculum, training, retreats, office supplies, conferences, etc.). The second level of support is optional. Interns are allowed to raise up to an additional $12,000 per year to use as a living stipend(housing, food, transportation).

Legacy interns will serve approximately 20-25 hours per week. They will be encouraged to take a second job in the local area to supplement their income and spend time in the community. Although we cannot get a job for you, we have contacted several local businesses to begin the job networking process.

Legacy Student Ministry, Inc is a tax exempt corporation as defined by IRS code 501(c)3. All donations to Legacy Student Ministry are tax-deductible. Money donated to Legacy will be placed in one single account for donations. We do not have "designated accounts" for interns. We follow the Acts 2 principle that all believers share their possessions in common and give to one another as each has a need. As you donate to Legacy Student Ministry, you can request that your donation be towards the support of a specific intern. We will attempt to honor that request as much as possible, but want to remind supporters that we reserve the right to distribute the money as needs arise.
